Herein lies the temple. The way free of suffering begins in the space surrounding all forms. Imagine you are a bird. Gravity’s tether to this world is different for you. You are no longer grounded, no longer attached to the surface. The higher you go, the greater the space between you and the forms below, and the more loving and clear your perspective. You can live life like this. The higher perspective allows you to love even more, for the removal of attachment offers space by which to fill with compassion, love, and peace.
Start by not taking everything so personally (for nothing anyone does has anything to do with you rather it is all a reflection of their state of Being). Be up in the high clean winds. Be free from the heavy pull of egos and drama. You hear us speak of non-attachment and it creates an idea of less love in your mind because you’ve been taught a needy love that fears this notion of freedom. True love, sincere compassion, and real spirituality come from this soulful space of flight, from non-attachment. In this state you are finally free to be the peace and love you long for. You see it does not come from others, or situations, or things, but is a state of being you have always been able to Be. Centered deep within your very Being is radiant love, anchored in a vibrant state of peace. This resonates because this truth is Universal, this knowing exists in your heart. It is your centre. It is your temple.
Take flight. When you look at the world and the people in your life from this vantage point, you offer this true love. Embrace those you see suffer, and allow them to be as they are. Teach them by your example. Remain loving and peaceful, radiating these qualities with your Presence. If each person did this, we would no longer suffer from wars and violence in this world for we would be sane again. When you love like this bird, free of ego and no longer taking anything personally, then compassion overtakes you and you become like the Mother embracing her Child. Be this way with others and with yourself. Embrace your own suffering from this higher place and heal it with your love, release it with your peace.
Herein lies the temple door.
Shine the light there and Be free.
